As part of our 25 years as a Rotary Club it was decided by the members that we would upgrade the play equipment and install tables and chairs in the Alma Street Playground area.

The project was a joint venture with the Launceston City Council who working in conjunction with our members to transform this area.Much of the mony needed for this Community Project was raised through the sale of sheep manure.

The area is now known as the "Rotary Club of Youngtown Community Playground" and is a very popular area with the local children and their parents.
