In 1995 one of our Charter Members suggested to our club that a Communty Garden be constructed in the old Launceston City Council garden area in the Punchbowl Reserve.

After considerable discussion and many meeting with the Council it was decided to make this one of our Community Projects.

Today it is a most successful project with many gardeners taking advantage of their plots to produce some wonderful produce.
