In September 2008 a group of Rotarians and their partners travelled from Endeavour Hills in Victoria for a weekend of FUN in Tasmania with members and partners from our Rotary Club. The group of 2008 After a delay due to the plane being late (normal) we travelled to the historic town of Evandale for morning tea. Our next stop was the Mount Elephant Pancake House just out of St Marys on the East Coast of Tassie. On arrival each member of Endeavour Hills was given their "lunch" pack (aka "Road Kill"). Following lunch we toured the East Coast eventually arriving at our accommodation in Bicheno. After free time and dinner we travelled to the nightly Fairy Panguin Parade, before relaxing in the lounge. Next day it was an early start to go to the Freycinet National Park. Some members walked to the Wineglass Bay Lookout while the rest visited Cape Tourville. After leaving Coles Bay it was on to a winery to sample some of Tasmania's best wines. Then on to Campbell Town for sightseeing and lunch. After lunch some we visited Ross before leaving the Victorians at the Launceston. A great weekened once again.
